What Jonathan decided

Planet H20 = winner (taste tie, won on price); Unify = lost, disliked

Planet H2O

Planet H2O beat Unify in #6534: the taste was a tie, so it won on price. Then in #6666 it got eliminated when O Pure Artesian won the round, and Jackson Springs finished dead last with a strong soil taste at $10. A price win and a quiet exit.

About Planet H2O

Planet H2O is a Nashville-based premium water company founded by Jim Bruner, Carey Bruner, and Rob Smithson after they found a sealed aquifer in 2012 while drilling in Perry County, Tennessee. The source is an artesian aquifer over 5,000 feet below the surface near Linden, Tennessee, filtered through 500-million-year-old rock, claimed to be the deepest-sourced artesian water in the US. Naturally alkaline at pH 8.3 with calcium, magnesium, potassium, and silica, and a finalist in the 2017 Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting.

Unify

The taste was tied, so Planet H20 won on price. Unify lost, and he did not like it.

About Unify

Unify was a Lexington, Kentucky startup selling premium spring water from a deep aquifer in the Tennessee Appalachians, naturally alkaline at pH 8. Its mission was "Buy a Bottle, Give a Gallon," donating clean water through the H2O Initiative and The Water Project. Certified B Corp, about two bucks a bottle.
