What Jonathan decided

0 Pure Artesian = winner; CANADAwater, BILINER, Planet H20 = eliminated; Jackson Springs = called worst (last place, strong soil taste at $10)

0 Pure Artesian

Jonathan crowned it the winner of a five-way showdown, while Jackson Springs took last place with a strong soil taste at a $10 price tag. He liked this one the best of the bunch, and it earned its spot cleanly.

About 0 Pure Artesian

The exact "0 Pure Artesian" label did not turn up anywhere, but it looks like a variant label of O PURE, a New Zealand artesian water from the Heretaunga plains aquifer with a naturally alkaline pH around 7.8.

Biliner

It went out in the five-way along with CANADAwater and Planet H20, while Jackson Springs took last place with its soil taste. The Biliner just did not stand out enough to survive.

About Biliner

Biliner is Bílinská kyselka, a strongly mineralized sparkling mineral water from Bílina in the Czech Republic, collected from a 191-meter borehole under Mount Boren. It is naturally carbonated, rich in sodium bicarbonate, and bottled in distinctive cobalt blue bottles. The spa heritage goes back to the 16th century.

Canadawater

A five-way tasting where CANADAwater did not survive. 0 Pure Artesian took the top spot, while CANADAwater, BILINER, and Planet H20 were eliminated, and Jackson Springs finished last with a strong soil taste at $10 a bottle.

About Canadawater

CANADAwater is a premium natural spring water from Canada, launched in 2017 by Water by Wave Inc. of Toronto, Ontario. It is bottled at the source deep below the Quebec forest, naturally filtered through ancient glacial aquifers at pH 7.96, sodium-free with natural electrolytes. It is sold through premium distributors with boutique luxury positioning.

Jackson Springs

I called it the worst of the five, in last place, with a strong soil taste at $10. That is a painful combination: expensive and earthy.

About Jackson Springs

Jackson Springs Water Corporation is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, bottling premium natural spring water from a company-owned artesian spring in the Sandilands Provincial Forest. The aquifer dates to the last ice age, over 13,000 years old. It is naturally alkaline at pH 8.1, sodium- and fluoride-free, and it won the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting gold medal for "Best Tasting Water in the World" in 2012. They specialize in 3- and 5-gallon refillable cooler jugs delivered across Manitoba.

Planet H2O

Planet H2O beat Unify in #6534: the taste was a tie, so it won on price. Then in #6666 it got eliminated when O Pure Artesian won the round, and Jackson Springs finished dead last with a strong soil taste at $10. A price win and a quiet exit.

About Planet H2O

Planet H2O is a Nashville-based premium water company founded by Jim Bruner, Carey Bruner, and Rob Smithson after they found a sealed aquifer in 2012 while drilling in Perry County, Tennessee. The source is an artesian aquifer over 5,000 feet below the surface near Linden, Tennessee, filtered through 500-million-year-old rock, claimed to be the deepest-sourced artesian water in the US. Naturally alkaline at pH 8.3 with calcium, magnesium, potassium, and silica, and a finalist in the 2017 Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting.
