Featured waters

Karma Wellness, Phure Alkaline, Sanavi Electrolyte, Sobe Orange.

Winner: Sanavi Electrolyte.

What Jonathan decided

Winner = Sanavi Electrolyte Water ("the winner is Sanavi it's moving on to Round three congratulations"). Runner-up = Phure Alkaline Water (better pH but Sanavi tastes better). Karma Wellness and SoBe Orange eliminated for heavy ingredients ("these two are not gonna win because they have so many other ingredients": SoBe leaves "a sugary feeling residue on your teeth", "smells like Kool-Aid... Hawaiian Punch"). A surprise fifth water, Archer Farms (Target), was eliminated immediately for a rubbery/tennis-ball taste ("this taste is like a tennis ball... like a mild rubbery chemically taste to it").

Karma Wellness

Sanavi won and moved on to round three, with Phure as runner-up. Karma Wellness and SoBe Orange were eliminated for having too many ingredients, and SoBe left a sugary residue on my teeth that smelled like Kool-Aid. A surprise fifth water, Archer Farms from Target, went out immediately for tasting like a tennis ball.

About Karma Wellness

Karma Wellness Water comes from Karma Culture LLC, a vitamin water with a push-to-release cap that keeps the vitamins sealed in the cap until you drink, so they do not degrade in the bottle. Varieties include Balance/Immunity, Mind, Body, Spirit, and Vitality, retailing around $2.39 to $2.89 for an 18 oz bottle at CVS, Wegmans, and Market Basket.

Phure Alkaline

Phure beat Saratoga in #6228: "I do think the water tastes better and that's the most important part." Saratoga got its thumbs up too, and I noted the glass-bottle taste. Then in #6229 Phure was the runner-up to Sanavi: Phure had the better pH, but Sanavi tasted better. Taste wins over pH. Every time.

About Phure Alkaline

PhURE is a US alkaline water brand from Orange County, California: ionized alkaline water at pH 9.5+ with added electrolytes (potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, magnesium sulfate), on a purified water base. Premium clean alkaline hydration, sold through retailers like Albertsons and Safeway, led by Allen Pierce, made in the USA.

Sanavi Electrolyte

Sanavi won #6220 against 20 Ounce Water on taste, even though the 20 Ounce had better marketing. Then it won round 3 in #6229 against Phure, Karma, and SoBe Orange, which went out for having too many ingredients.

About Sanavi Electrolyte

Sanavi's electrolyte water comes from the same Vermont spring brand, flavored with organic fruit extractives, zero calories, no sweeteners, nothing artificial.

Sobe Orange

SoBe Orange got eliminated in this round for having too many ingredients. He said it left a sugary feeling residue on his teeth and smelled like Kool-Aid. Sanavi won the round.

About Sobe Orange

SoBe, from South Beach, is a PepsiCo-owned beverage brand founded in 1995 in Connecticut. Its Lifewater line was a vitamin-infused enhanced water, mostly zero-calorie and sweetened with stevia.
