"Jon Drinks Water #6131 Body Armor Sport VS Nirvana Natural Spring VS Naya Natural Spring VS Aloe Glo" is a water-comparison tournament video from Jon Drinks Water, episode #6131 of the series.

Featured waters

Aloe Glo, Body Armor Sport, Naya Natural Spring, Nirvana Natural Spring, Sheltz.

Winner: Nirvana Natural Spring.

What Jonathan decided

Winner = Nirvana Natural Spring Water ("I think that the... water is slightly better... this has like less of a plasticy taste to it so Nirvana is moving on to Round three"). Runner-up = Body Armor Sport. Naya eliminated with a rare thumbs down ("this has like a strong plasticy chemically taste to it... I'm seriously giving this a thumbs down"). Aloe Glo eliminated ("it's got like a sweet sugary taste to it and I'm just going to eliminate this right away because it has 10 calories per serving"). Sheltz German carbonated water eliminated ("I hate carbonated water the only reason this made it to this round because it was against another carbonated water").

Aloe Glo

He eliminated it right away for a sweet, sugary taste and 10 calories per serving. In a water tournament, calories are a quick way out.

About Aloe Glo

Aloe Glo is a sparkling aloe vera beverage sold at juice bars and cafes, blending aloe with turmeric and ginger and marketed as containing over 200 active compounds. It comes in 12 oz bottles at around four dollars.

Body Armor Sport

Jonathan had a good time with this one. Against Protein2o he called it the clear winner, though he liked Protein2o well enough and only dinged it for tasting a little chalky. In the next round Nirvana edged it out for having less of that plasticky bottle taste, but Body Armor walked away with second place and his respect.

About Body Armor Sport

BODYARMOR SportWater is the alkaline water line from Body Armor Nutrition LLC, which Coca-Cola has owned since 2021. It is pH 9+ ionized alkaline water with electrolytes, sold as a hydration upgrade for athletes. The wider BODYARMOR brand is the premium sports drink built on coconut water, potassium-packed electrolytes, B-vitamins, and antioxidants, with no artificial sweeteners, flavors, or colors.

Naya Natural Spring

Naya won its first round against Crystal Springs, though I only gave it 3 out of 5 stars and blamed a weird taste on the 100% recycled bottle. Then in #6131 it got a rare thumbs down from me: a strong plasticky, chemically taste. Nirvana moved on instead. One win, one very firm loss.

About Naya Natural Spring

Naya is a Canadian spring water from Naya Waters Inc., founded 1986, from a spring at Mirabel, Quebec at the foot of the Laurentian Mountains, drawn from an aquifer over 30 meters deep. It is natural, untreated, un-ozonized spring water bottled directly at the source, naturally sodium-free. The name comes from the Naiads of Greek mythology, and the company returned to 100% Quebec ownership in 2021.

Nirvana Natural Spring

Two wins for this one. It beat Pact Cranberry in #6122 ("this one is definitely better out of the two"), then won #6131 because it had less of a plasticky taste than the rest. It even survived the round where Naya got my rare thumbs down. Solid water.

About Nirvana Natural Spring

Nirvana Natural Spring comes from five protected springs in the Adirondack foothills, fed by two "Ice Aged Aquifers" on 1,700 acres of protected wilderness. Naturally low sodium, high calcium, bromide-free, bottled fresh at 42 degrees with no purification needed, per the company. Made by Alder Creek Beverages in 100% recycled PET bottles.

Sheltz

Sheltz got eliminated in this five-water round, which Nirvana won. He was blunt about it: he hates carbonated water, and the only reason it made it that far was that it had been up against another carbonated water before.

About Sheltz
