What Jonathan decided

Spring = winner (moves on); sparkling disliked

Mountain Valley Sparkling

I pitted the two Mountain Valleys against each other, and the spring water won. I disliked the sparkling. Sometimes the still version is just better and that is the whole review.

About Mountain Valley Sparkling

Same Mountain Valley brand: premium American spring water bottled continuously since 1871 from a protected spring in the Ouachita Mountains near Hot Springs, Arkansas. Natural mineral composition, pH around 7.8, still and sparkling in glass and plastic. Owned since 2018 by Cott/Primo Water.

Mountain Valley Spring

The spring version beat its own sparkling sibling in #4831 and moved on. Then in #4832 it finished third behind Crystal 2O and Just The Basics. A win and a bronze, not bad for a 150-year-old.

About Mountain Valley Spring

Mountain Valley is one of America's oldest water brands, bottled in Hot Springs, Arkansas since 1871, founded by pharmacist Peter Greene and incorporated in 1883. It established one of America's first business franchises in 1894 and went coast-to-coast by 1920. It is now owned by Primo Water, and its glass bottles won "best of show" from the International Bottled Water Association in 2006.
