Greenland Ice Cap, Smeraldina.

Winner: Smeraldina.

What Jonathan decided

Winner = Smeraldina ("more of a watery water"); Greenland liked, slight grassy note, "good and refreshing".

Greenland Ice Cap

Smeraldina won as "more of a watery water," but I liked Greenland too. I called it good and refreshing with a slight grassy note, so this was a friendly loss.

About Greenland Ice Cap

This is glacial water from Greenland's ice cap, likely from the Qualerit glacial ice field. There are a few Greenland iceberg water brands out there, like Berg Water, which is harvested by hand from icebergs with roughly 15,000-year-old ice and very low mineral content. In 2025, Arctic Ice secured a 20-year exclusive Greenland extraction license for its "Inua" premium brand.

Smeraldina

This was a great round. Hawaiian Springs won and moved to round 3, a water he said he would stock his fridge with. Smeraldina tied for second with Fjord: a really good one, double thumbs up, and it reminded him of Starkey.

About Smeraldina

Smeraldina, the Legendary Water of Sardinia, has been bottled since 1985 from an artesian aquifer nearly 1,000 feet deep under the Monti di Deu. It was named Best Water in the World at the 2023 Berkeley Springs tasting.
