What Jonathan decided

Run Tian Natural Selenium = winner, advances to Round 3; AlkAqua, Sadaf Pussywillow = eliminated; Blume Honey = best-tasting but "worst overall" (70 calories); Oral IV = "snake oil," disliked

Alkaqua

It beat Ganten in the head-to-head, but the five-way round two with Run Tian, Blume Honey, Oral IV, and Sadaf Pussywillow sent it home. Run Tian won that round.

About Alkaqua

Alkaqua is an innovative Chinese bottled water brand based in Beijing, positioned as youth-focused and design-forward, known for creative ad campaigns including a Youth Day film celebrating cross-generational differences.

Blume Honey

This is the funniest verdict in the batch. He said it was the best-tasting water in the round and also the worst overall, because it has 70 calories. Run Tian won the round. Taste is not everything when the calories show up.

About Blume Honey

Blume Honey Water is made in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, lightly flavored water sweetened only with organic honey from certified organic hives in the jungles of Yucatan, Mexico. It comes in Citrus Vanilla, Wild Blueberry, and Ginger Zest, sold at Whole Foods Mid-Atlantic and Giant Eagle.

Oral IV

Run Tian won #6626 and moved on to Round 3. Oral IV got eliminated, and I called it snake oil. Disliked, full stop.

About Oral IV

Formulated for military Special Forces, launched at 120 military-based GNC stores in 2019, used by US military elite, NFL, and Olympic athletes.

Run Tian

Run Tian beat Snow Mountain Mineral Water in #6597, then won round 3 in #6626 against AlkAqua, Blume Honey, Oral IV, and Sadaf Pussywillow, and moved on.

About Run Tian

Like the entry above, no official site or product listings for a Run Tian water could be found in English-language sources.

Sadaf Pussywillow

Pussywillow beat Dill Weed in the Sadaf showdown, then lost to Run Tian in round 3 of the bigger comparison.

About Sadaf Pussywillow

Sadaf's Pussywillow Water, or Bid Meshk, is a traditional Persian herbal distillate, a concentrate meant to be diluted and sweetened before drinking, sold at Middle Eastern groceries.
