What Jonathan decided

Tourmaline = winner; Iceland close second; Le Bleu eliminated (floating-particle video)

Iceland Spring (Iceland Pure Spring Water) - the "Iceland" in Jonathan's bracket

Iceland Spring had a fantastic run. It beat LIFE WTR head to head, won a five-water round three over H2 and others, then won round four over Pur Aqua Black Cherry. It finally fell to Tourmaline in #4993 as a close second, with Le Bleu eliminated over a floating-particle video. Both got thumbs up against LIFE WTR.

About Iceland Spring (Iceland Pure Spring Water) - the "Iceland" in Jonathan's bracket

This is Iceland Spring, also called Iceland Pure Spring Water, bottled by Iceland Spring ehf. in Reykjavik. The source is the Heidmork nature reserve, the same source as Reykjavik's tap water, from an ancient government-protected lava field spring. It is naturally alkaline with a claimed pH of 8.88, and "nothing added and nothing removed." It is a different company and different spring from Icelandic Glacial, which is a common mixup.

Le Bleu

Le Bleu was on a tear. It won three straight: against IGA, against a five-water field including Pureau, and against TJ's New Zealand Artesian ("the winner is the blue"). Iceland and Tourmaline finally stopped it in #4993. Then in the Honorable Mention Awards it took home Best Distilled Water, which feels exactly right.

About Le Bleu

Le Bleu is made by the Le Bleu Corporation in Advance, North Carolina, steam-distilled through a patent-pending process they call "five steps beyond Mother Nature." They have been delivering 3- and 5-gallon jugs across the Carolinas and Southeast for over 20 years, and the water comes in award-winning cobalt-blue bottles. It even won Best Non-Alcoholic Beverage in the Western Hemisphere at a Miami trade show.

Tourmaline Spring Water

One of the most decorated waters in the whole tournament. It beat REAL, Spindrift, IGA, and Gerber, then beat Crystal2O "not even like that close," then beat Iceland and Le Bleu. Starkey finally ended the run in his 5000th episode, and both waters got ten thumbs up.

About Tourmaline Spring Water

Tourmaline comes from a natural spring in Maine that bubbles up through gemstone-lined vaults in an ancient mountain range. The company says it is the only one to bottle untreated natural spring water in Maine's history, with a gravity-fed plant 50 feet from the spring, no pumps, no boreholes, and Maine's premium grade designation. Its history as a "healing" water goes back to 1792. Small, family-owned, about a buck forty-nine a bottle, and a two-time bronze winner at the 2018 International Fine Waters Tasting Competition in Ecuador.
